Wow! Can you believe it!
It is October and time to be thinking about the rest of the year! Like the title says, “From Pumpkin Spice Everything to Happy New Year!”
To say that this year has been different is an understatement! Life happened in a very sad way for me at the passing of a long-time friend due to Covid-19 and at the same time, My 92 y/o Mother came to stay with us due to the devastation Hurricane Laura left behind in my home town of Lake Charles. I was so blessed to have my Mom with me during September. She is now back home.
As we look at the rest of 2020, October, November and December, my goal is to have happy times and make wonderful memories with family and friends, even if that means we meet on line!
I like to look at a physical calendar to get my plan of action for the next 3 months.
- Where will we spend our holidays and with whom?
- What dishes will I be preparing and on what ingredients can I begin stocking up?
- What food gifts will I be making and giving? Start your grocery list now.
Here is a link to a printable calendar so you can begin your planning: CalendarLabs.com
Something to include in your plan is:
- When to decorate for each season
- When to UNdecorate!!
(Don’t be that person who still has Christmas lights up on Valentine’s Day!)
If you find you need a nudge in helping to get your mind wrapped around this plan, schedule a time with Marla and let’s get started with a solid plan for getting the rest of your year on track.
I want to help you enjoy your friends and family this holiday and not be stuck in the kitchen cooking and prepping! Let’s end this year with wonderful memories of the people who mean the most to us! Click here to schedule your time with Marla.
It is so good to be back with you!
Stay tuned to the emails in the next few weeks, we will be getting a plan of action together for planning ahead for the upcoming holidays.
One theme that has run through so many stories I hear, is that there is so much busyness in the preparation for special days, that family fun and memories are missed. I don’t want that to happen to you!!
